Energy company Suntrade Group will participate in June in the solar and energy fair SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai to strengthen international collaborations within energy storage and energy infrastructure. The company says meetings are planned with investors, customers, and industrial and financial partners.- We see a continued growing international interest in energy storage and flexibility services in the power system, especially in Europe where the need for stability in power grids is increasing as the energy transition progresses. Our ambition is to continue developing projects together with industrial and financial partners as the market matures, CEO Daniel Hedström says in a comment. Suntrade is simultaneously presenting its project portfolio within energy and energy storage in Europe, with a particular focus on Finland, the Baltics and Poland. The company says that the revenue potential for certain energy storage projects under current market conditions amounts to around SEK 1.5–2 million per installed megawatt per year."Through an ongoing project development process where assets are gradually moved between different stages of maturity, Suntrade is working, according to the company, to build a continuous and scalable project engine within energy storage. This creates a diversified portfolio with varying risk and development profiles, which enables flexibility in both project selection and capital allocation," the company writes.
