Chinese energy group China Gas is establishing a wholly owned company in Sweden and choosing Suntrade as a strategic partner for expansion in the Nordics and the Baltic states. This is according to a press release.China Gas has a turnover of over SEK 130 billion and operations in over 275 cities. The establishment becomes the group's first permanent presence in the Nordics.According to Suntrade, the initiative is expected to shorten decision-making paths and accelerate the development of joint energy and infrastructure projects in the region.Suntrade states that the company has played a central role in building the relationship and enabling the establishment. The parties are planning new strategic meetings in Shanghai at the beginning of June.
