Gaming company Mindark reported lower revenue and a weaker operating result in the first quarter of 2026 compared with the same quarter last year. The company also states that underlying user activity in Entropia Universe developed positively during the period. Revenue decreased 3.3 percent to SEK 16.0 million (16.6). Operating profit amounted to SEK -5.6 million (-5.0). Earnings per share amounted to SEK -0.19 (-0.08). The company states that the lower revenue is mainly explained by currency effects due to a stronger Swedish krona against the dollar. At the same time, user activity and deposits of user funds increased by approximately 5 percent compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to CEO Leif Evander Andersson, the company continued during the quarter to strengthen the technical platform through modernization of core systems, improved user experience and investments in a more scalable infrastructure. The AI initiative is also said to have contributed to more efficient development work and improved code quality.
