The tech company Freetrailer, which operates within the sharing economy, is expanding its collaboration with Elkjøp in Norway with an additional 85 trailers. This means the collaboration grows from 6 to 91 trailers, distributed across 51 Elkjøp stores throughout the country.The expansion strengthens Freetrailer's presence in Norway, where the company says growth has been strong during 2026. Together with the collaborations with Elkjøp and Elgiganten in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, more than 400 Freetrailer units will be in operation at the chains' stores in the Nordics.Elkjøp's customers and local residents can borrow trailers via Freetrailer's digital self-service platform, regardless of whether they shop in the store or not.
