Crypto company BTC reports an operating loss during the second quarter of 2026. The loss is mainly explained by unrealized revaluations of the company's bitcoin holdings.The operating loss amounted to SEK 14.7 million during the second quarter. Of this, SEK 13.7 million related to an unrealized revaluation of the company's bitcoin holdings, while underlying operating expenses amounted to SEK 0.9 million.During the quarter, the company bought about six bitcoin, which increased the total holdings from 166 to 172 bitcoin. BTC yield amounted to 3.4 percent during the quarter.The net asset value, which is the important key figure in BTC, was SEK 140 per share, which means a discount of 20 percent. At the end of the first quarter, net asset value was SEK 152 per share with a discount of 22 percent.
